Environmental Protection Department has engaged ALBA to design and build the first of its kind Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Treatment and Recycling Facility (WEEETRF) in Hong Kong, which is a sophisticated E-Waste management service to individuals and organizations. WEEETRF is an integrated one stop solution for the establishment of a comprehensive E-Waste collection network to processing materials in an environmentally sound manner. The speaker will share how to collect, sort, detoxicate, dismantle and recycle television sets, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, as well as computers and certain associated devices including printers, scanners, and monitors. With latest state of the art German technology, it will be able to deliver exceptional recycling rates of over 80%.
