The Informatics and Control Technologies section of the IET Hong Kong is taking an initiative in organizing a technical conference, the “ICT Conference 2018 – Intelligence Connecting Your Future”, to provide a forum for the government officials, key industry professionals, and university researchers to share on the government policy, the opportunities and threats in the ICT era, as well as the latest development and applications which will help Hong Kong be constructed as a competitive smart city.
Rapid development of digital technologies like big data, advanced communications and multimedia is greatly enhancing the modern life while security and privacy are inviting increasingly challenges. At the same time, it provides unprecedented business opportunities for the industry particularly in the local ICT industry.
