Programme Highlight

Developed in 1994, USB (abbreviation of Universal Serial Bus) now becomes an industry standard that supports the connection of peripherals for both to communicate and to supply electric power.  In recent years, Fast Charging using USB becomes more popular. In the market, there are different types of USB ports, namely Type-A, B, Mini-A, Mini-B, Micro-A, Micro-B, USB3.0 Type A, USB 3.0 Type B, USB Type-C, and etc. USB is primarily goal is for 5V-1A charging and data transfer.

In this talk, we will talk about the USB charging market development and the future trend of USB electric power delivery standard. What’s true fast charging? What are the differences between USB-PD, QC3.0, BC1.2? Any differentiations when using iPhone, SamSung and Huawei phone, in Fast Charging areas? This seminar will try to answer all these Questions, and the future trend in Fast-Charging.
