Technical Webinar: Smart Site Safety System (4S) Application for Construction Works

Programme Highlights

Innovative solutions enhance construction workers’ safety, health and operational efficiency noted by the different successful experiences and job references. These measures provide additional precautionary measures onsite, instant responses to emergency and proactively formulate post-incident solutions through the latest growing technologies. 

This seminar will preliminarily share experiences of the Smart Site Safety System (4S) being applied in local capital construction works with the specified scales required for uplifting site safety performances. All of them are expected for monitoring high-risk construction activities and identifying safety hazards; for communication and transmission of data collected from different smart devices; and providing a one-stop hub for data analysis and alerts generation, as well as facilitating follow-up actions with potential hazards and abnormalities identified by the effective uses of Centralised Management Platform (CMP).

Speaker

Dr. Leo Fung

Dr. Fung has over 20-year experiences in construction and engineering across disciplines including repairs, maintenances, system control of plant and equipment, quality, safety and health. He has worked for a local institute of construction to develop the Smart Site Safety System (4S) training and also served for the local main contractor, building services contractors, real estate developer and educational institutes in Hong Kong. Currently, he is the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager of the Blue Stone Management Ltd.
