Herman Chow 

Mr. Herman Chow is a distinguished leader in the testing industry, currently serving as the Head of the Testing Team of Smart City Division at the Hong Kong Productivity Council. With over two decades of experience in the field, Herman has held senior management positions at globally recognized companies such as UL and Bureau Veritas, in addition to his tenure at HKPC. 

Not only is he a product testing specialist, but Herman is also adept at providing tailored R&D solutions for his clients. Herman's innovative prowess is truly exceptional, as evidenced by his most notable invention, the "InspecSpider". This groundbreaking creation earned him the Silver Award at the prestigious Edison Awards in 2024, as well as the Gold Medal with Congratulations of Jury at the 2023 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. As the chief designer of the InspecSpider, Herman also holds the patent for the AI-based solution for rusting determination, and the remote method for conducting touchable ultrasonic testing for high mast. 

Aries Lam 

Mr. Aries Lam is the consultant of the Testing Team of Smart City Division at the Hong Kong Productivity Council. Aries have over 7 years experience in conducting mechanical and electronics testing and R&D work. He is the chief engineer of the InspecSpider and he is also one of the patent owner of the “A Method of Remote Rusting Determination” regarding the AI solution of rusting analysis and remote ultrasonic testing of high mast.
