Technical Seminar : Voltage Dip Mitigation Measures for Lifts & Escalators

Program Highlight

Voltage dips, being one of the common power quality concerns in Hong Kong, may affect the operation of lifts & escalators and cause inconvenience to the public. CLP PQ Team has developed various solutions that successfully improves the operation of lifts & escalators and reduces the risk of lifts & escalators suddenly stopping. In the presentation, the speakers will introduce the power quality concerns in Hong Kong and share different voltage dip mitigation measures for lifts & escalators.

Speakers 

Ir Edmond Chan, Senior Systems Engineering Manager, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited

Ir Edmond Chan is currently the Senior Systems Engineering Manager and leads the Power Quality and Electric Mobility Team in CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd. He is responsible to develop and deploy EV charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and provide various power quality services.

Ir LEE Yan Yan, Engineer I, CLP Power Hong Kong Limited

Ir Lee has been working in different positions in CLP Power for over 10 years. She is currently the Team Leader who oversees the development and O&M of Power Quality Monitoring System in CLP Power and leads technical team to provide various power quality services to the customers.
