“Super Typhoon Mangkhut" passed next
to Hong Kong and Macau on 16 September 2018. It was the strongest to hit Hong
Kong since records began 50 years ago causing large scale damage around the
city on Transportation System, Commercial and Residential Buildings and Casino
etc. in Hong Kong and Macau respectively. Even implementing typhoon
precautionary measures, damage to property, asset & business operation and
liability to third party are inevitable. Proper insurance coverage and claim
handling can reduce the business' exposure to the effects of particular risks.
The seminar is to share experience from speaker how to properly manage
insurance coverage and handle claims with some case studies for easy
illustration.

Mr. Johnson K. S.
Chiu
Mr. Chiu started his career in insurance industry since 1986 and had
been employed as an in-house insurance manager and risk manager for 25 years.
He is qualified as a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Chartered Insurance Risk
Manager, Senior Associate of The Australian & New Zealand Institute of
Insurance & Finance as well as the Registered Safety Officer under Labour
Department of HKSAR Government. He had worked for property developers in Hong
Kong, Mainland China and UK and a global facility service provider, hotel and
casino during the past 25 years.

Line Registration Link”. The maximum number of participants is 270.
Priority will be given to the members of the Organizers and Supporting
Organizations. The deadline of application is 6 May 2019 (Monday). Name
of successful members will be informed by confirmation e-mail by no later than
22 May 2019 (Wednesday), which shall be presented at the registry of the venue
entrance for verification. If the applicants have not received the confirmation
e-mail on or before 22 May 2019, their applications will be regarded as NOT
successful.

2019, the talk would be cancelled without further arrangement or notification.
