Ir Prof. Louis LOCK
Prof. LOCK has been actively participated in the activities of the professional bodies in Hong Kong, the UK & Mainland. Currently, he is the Chairman of Control, Automation and Instrumentation Discipline Advisory Panel of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. He is also the Appeal Board Panel Member under the Builders’ Lifts and Tower Working Platforms (Safety) Ordinance (Cap 470) (2021-24) & Appeal Board Panel Member under the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance (Cap 618) (2022-25).
Prof. LOCK is an Adjunct Professor of City University of Hong Kong and Visiting Professor of University of Science & Technology, Beijing. He was an Honorary Professor of The Open University of Hong Kong and Visiting Professor of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Ir Louis YIU
Ir YIU holds a Bachelor Degree and a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering. He had been involved in lift and escalator industry for over 18 years. He is a registered lift and escalator engineer and Corporate Member of the HKIE in CAI Discipline.
Ir David CHAN
Ir CHAN is a registered lift and escalator engineer and also a chartered engineer, RPE as well as a member of numerous professional institutes including IaEE, IET, IMechE and HKIE. Having over 20 years of working experience in the lift industry, David is now participating as Technical Sub-committee Chairman of Lift and Escalator Contractor Association (LECA) and serving as member in numeral working groups for latest EN81-20/50 and EN115 adoption in HK composing experts from EMSD, LECA, Pacific Asia Lift and Escalator Association (PALEA) and International Association of Elevator Engineers (IaEE).
