Programme Highlights

Recently, Multi-dimensional spatial data represented by the Building Information Model (BIM), Geographic Information System (GIS), and spatio-temporal moving objects has exploded and become an important foundation for new infrastructure and digital framework with the rapid development of observation technology, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital twin technology. In this webinar, Alibaba Cloud will share how it leverages cloud-native tools / framework in supporting its landing.

Speakers

Mr. Patrick Chan (Solutions Architect- Public Sector) and Dr. Song Zhen (Senior Product Expert - Spatio-Temporal Database) from Alibaba Cloud Intelligence

Mr. Patrick Chan, MSc (Information & Technology Management), BSc (Computer Science), who has over 18 years experienced in IT and Cloud Platform infrastructure in strategy technology planning, consulting, architecture design and enterprise project implementation in diversify of global products and technologies in the market. Specialisation in Digital government & Smart City areas in past few years, driving enterprise to perform digital transformation through Cloud computing, Big Data, AI, IoT adoption in e-Government and urban innovation & technology landing, such as Macau Smart City and HK

Dr. Song Zhen, Ph.D., graduated from the Department of Earth Science of Nanjing University, has been engaged in GIS and urban digital twins for 15 years, has won the title of young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province, and has won the Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Natural Resources of China for many times.
