Organised by HKIE-CA Division

Programme Highlights

According to the requirements outlined in the "Technical Circular (Works) No. 3/2023" issued by the Development Bureau on 27 February 2023, the Smart Site Safety System (SSSS) is applied to enhance the current site safety management system. The SSSS enables continuous monitoring of high-risk site activities and analysis of the associated data, allowing for the early identification of hazards and risks.

The Smart Site Safety System provides a digital platform for the project team to handle different types of incident controls on site. Project team members should understand the data captured by the monitoring devices and take timely follow-up actions. The implementation plan also provides a framework to manage the risks associated with operations, with occupational safety and health being monitored by the SSSS. This involves the identification, assessment, control, and monitoring of risks, along with the associated proactive control measures.

This seminar aims to shed light on the aforementioned requirements of the Development Bureau and their associated applications. Additionally, it will provide an insightful overview and share the experiences of the construction industry in implementing the smart site safety system. The session will cover various aspects, including different types of SSSS applications for loss control and prevention, available techniques, and relevant case studies
