Call for Papers – CA Paper Competition Co-organized by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers – Control, Automation and Instrumentation Division and The Institute of Measurement and Control, Hong Kong Section

Dear Sir/Madam,
The CA Paper Award Competition is organized by the Control, Automation & Instrumentation Division (CAD) and co-organized by the Institute of Measurement and Control, Hong Kong Section with the aim to promote the Control, Automation & Instrumentation technologies and to encourage young / potential engineers and technologists to join us.
You are cordially invited to furnish a Paper related to the captioned theme of “Innovation & Invention” to support our annual event. We would appreciate it if you could complete and return the enclosed enrolment form and license to reproduce to Ir Dr. SL Mak by email at lunmak@gmail.com on or before 16 February 2021 (Tuesday). Deadline of Paper Submission : Feb 16, 2021
Notification of Paper Award : Feb 23, 2021
Best Paper Award
The best paper will be selected by the Judging Panel. The selection is based on the academic merit, innovativeness and potential application of the ideas, and writing style of the papers. A certificate and a cash cheque will be presented to the award winners at the Symposium of CAD.
Group A: Student
Champion (undergraduate / Subdegree level) – a certificate, HK$2,500 cash cheque
Champion (Postgraduate level) – a certificate, HK$2,500 cash cheque
Outstanding Paper Award – a certificate, HK$1,800 cash cheque
Group B:Academic / Engineering Professional
Champion – a certificate, HK$2,500 cash cheque
Outstanding Paper Award – a certificate, HK$1,800 cash cheque
